Dan Torpey has over three decades of experience in the public accountancy profession and is a licensed CPA in the state of Texas.  Dan currently serves on the board of MDB Capital Holdings, a public venture investment company and he is a retired Partner from Ernst & Young LLP. Dan is well known for his thought leadership in Forensic Accounting, Corporate Compliance and Leadership and has written and presented on these topics.  His work has taken him to 48 states and 5 continents. Dan is a board member of the American Tinnitus Association, and an Advisory Board member for the University of Dallas, Gupta School of Business and the Lyceum Institute, a Digital University that provides classical education to study the Trivium, Classical Languages, Philosophy and more. 
 
Dan is a Master’s Athlete and competes in USA Olympics Weightlifting events and has served on the board of USA Weightlifting.  Dan is a supporter of the arts and historical preservation and has previously served as a volunteer for the Famers Branch Historical Park and a member of the Farmers Branch Mustangs, a Vintage Baseball team, playing under the original 1860’s rules. Dan is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), the Private Directors Associations (PDA) and Financial Executive International (FEI) and an active member in the local Dallas chapters.
