Chris Bowers is a former first assistant city attorney and interim city attorney for the City of Dallas. During that time, he persuaded the U.S. Supreme Court and the Texas Supreme Court to reverse courts of appeals and rule for the City. He also successfully litigated historic preservation cases and drafted historic preservation ordinances. Since entering private practice, D Magazine named him one of the “Best Lawyers in Dallas” for land use/zoning in 2021 and 2022. He now represents developers, other land owners, and governmental entities in a range of litigation, administrative, and transactional matters.
